Tahoe Sideboard

The design is inspired by the new ergonomics linked to the lifestyles of today’s people, and the contemporary language is integrated into domestic, work or waiting spaces. The reconfigurability of the combinations allows the use in solitary or in sharing for moments of relax or conversation.

Inspired on a place where anonymous passengers and their private stories converge was born Tahoe, a tribute to stations and waiting spaces on world where humanity has been spending more and more time and in which we have all had mixed emotions. Tahoe is a chest of dawers system and it represents one powerful unique product created with own identity, sharing a common inspiration and feeling on design language. The elyptic is the dominant shape, representing the stations hole-like windows that open onto galleries and platforms. The interplay of light and shadow is enhanced by the undulating forms that flow outward from the drawers, creating a swaying sensation that recalls the movement of the ocean. An arrangement Tahoe sideboard creates an elegant set in private residences, lobbies, breakout areas or other corporate spaces.
